Terms of service
These terms are between you and Boetiek House S.L. (CIF B75865022, Calle Fernando Fuentes 2, 38300 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain), trading as VergeLabs ("we"). They cover licences, credit packs and the AI service for VergeLabs Media Library. You can reach us at support@vergelabsmedia.com.
The software
The VergeLabs Media Library plugin and VergeLabs Media Library Pro are free software under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. Nothing in these terms limits what that licence lets you do with the code. What you buy from us is access to the AI service, a number of sites, a yearly allowance of credits, and updates and support for Pro.
Your account
You need an account to buy and to manage licences. Keep your password and your licence keys to yourself. What is done with your key is done under your licence.

Prices are shown at checkout in euros, dollars or pounds, depending on your country.
- Single, Five and Agency are yearly subscriptions. They renew each year until you cancel. You can cancel from your account at any time; everything keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Lifetime is one payment, for one site. It includes updates and 2,000 credits every year for at least five years from the day you buy it. After that it continues for as long as we run the service, and if we ever stop, we tell you at least six months before. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the product, not of the buyer. If the AI service ends, the plugin keeps working without it.
Credits
- One credit is one picture described. Nothing else is charged per use.
- Credits are prepaid. They do not expire while your licence is active.
- A picture the service failed to describe is not charged.
- There is no overage. Nothing can be charged beyond what you have prepaid.
- Your plan's yearly credits and any credit packs you buy land in one balance.
Sites
A licence is used on a site when you connect it there. A site is its address (scheme and host); the paths on it do not count separately. A staging copy does not use one of your sites. To move a licence, disconnect it on one site and connect it on another, from the plugin or from your account.
Payment, VAT and invoices
Payments are processed by Stripe, and your invoices are in your account.
If you buy as a consumer in the EU, the prices we show you include VAT at your country's rate wherever we charge it, and the checkout shows the VAT before you pay. If you buy as a business with a valid EU VAT number, we charge no VAT: the reverse charge applies, you account for the VAT yourself, and your VAT number is printed on the invoice.
Refunds
Within 14 days of buying, you get your money back, with no questions asked, if the plugin does not do what our site says it does. Credits you have already used are deducted.
If a payment fails, or you cancel

Nothing about your library is held back by a lapsed licence. Your folders are ordinary WordPress media categories and stay yours.
The service
- We aim to keep the AI service available but do not promise uninterrupted availability. While it is unavailable, your plugin keeps working without the AI features, and no credits are taken for a picture that was not described.
- Rate limits apply (240 credits a minute, 25,000 a day). They are there to stop a leaked key from being abused; honest use does not reach them.
- Support is by email at support@vergelabsmedia.com, answered within one business day, Monday to Friday.
Using the service properly
- Use it lawfully, and only for pictures you are allowed to process.
- Do not submit pictures containing special categories of personal data (health, religion, sexual orientation and the like). The service is not built for them.
- Do not try to get around the credit metering or the rate limits.
Your pictures and data
We do not keep your pictures: each one passes through the service to be described and is gone when the request ends. The descriptions are stored in your own WordPress database. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy policy, and, where we process personal data for you, in the Data Processing Agreement, which takes precedence on that subject.
Liability
If something goes wrong because of us, we will put it right. Where that is no longer possible and you have suffered loss, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or, for a Lifetime licence, what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost revenue or lost business.
The plugin writes descriptions and moves files between folders in your own WordPress site. Keep backups: we are not liable for data that a backup would have restored.
None of this limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any right you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. For a subscription, we will email you a month before a change takes effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
Law and disputes
Get in touch first; most disagreements are a misunderstanding. If we cannot resolve it, Spanish law applies and disputes go to the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of your own country's law and may go to the courts where you live.
